  Halloween is around the corner.

While kids get excited about free candy, parents worry about getting cavities!

DKPD will be sharing tips the month of October to keep your little goblin’s teeth healthy during Halloween and year-round.

        TIP #1:  TIMING!
Sugary foods, such as candy, should be eaten with a meal or right after.

When you eat, your saliva production increases.
This helps with rinsing away food particles and canceling out the acids in your mouth produced by bacteria.
